    The storming of the basitille was the offical start of the french revolution. Thousands of parisians attacked the fort and succesfully got the gun powder. The city was now in the hands of revolutioners. The fort was called the Basitille where it was supplied with gun powder. NOTES

    Large group of French women came together in the central marketplace of Paris. The March to Versailles was staged in an effort to obtain bread and force the high prices of bread down.     The royal family were under house arrest in their palace in Paris. King Louis was forced to sign law after law and more power from him was tooken from him.     Liberty refers to the basic civil rights we often take for granted as being the natural rights of people everywhere such as speech, ECT. everyone should be equal before the law, rather than face unjust double standards. all men were seen as equal before the law, primogeniture was outlawed, giving all sons equal shares of an inheritance, and even daughters a portion, although less than the sons got.
