  • The Estates General Meets

    The Estates General meets to confront many decisions regarding the problems within France, and this begins the event known as the French Revolution
  • Tennis Court Oath Created

    People are locked out and decided to right the wrongs of the country with their own hands
  • Storming the Bastille

    People had risen up for the first time to claim whatever they could find in the Bastille to fight against the King's Soldiers
  • Old Regime Dies

    The night before, the people of the National Assembly had grown as many of the nobles had showed their support, to avoid death. Thus marked the end of the Old Regime and a new time period for France
  • Declaration of the Rights of Man and of Citizen

    The National Assembly had made a sort of "Constitution" for France. Marking the making of the seperation of the royal people and the common people. "Liberty, Equality, Fraternity"
  • Women's March of Versailles

    Many of the people, the women, were unhappy with the rising cost of bread and decided to take their problem up with their "Leader" in Versailles, where they trashed the palace, and went on a hunt to complain about their problems towards the royal family.
  • Royal Family tries to escape

    Royal families almost escapes France and then gets caught and put back into Paris, leaving the tensions uneasy between the two groups.
  • War against Austria and Prussia

    Marks as one of the events that would lead the revolution into a bloody route and start to make more important decisions
  • Jean Paul Marat and his Newspaper

    Jean Paul Marat would influence many people to turn into more hateful and bloodthirsty than before with the publishing of his newspaper.
  • Dr. Joseph Ignace Guillotine creates the Guillotine

    The guillotine is the most famous and common way to kill people whilst the Revolution is going on, specifically, during the Terror and the Great Terror
  • Maximilen Robespierre is named leader of the Committee of Public Safety

    The period Robespierre holds power and is leader is known as the terror and the Great Terror, the most radical points in the French Revolution, in fact they were the bloody parts of it

    Execution of Robespierre had ended his reign of dictator and also the Great Terror.
  • Napoleon seizes power and is claimed leader of France

    Napoleon claims the 1st consul, and is sort of like a dictator. He would Assist during the war against Prussia, and Austria, and across Europe.
  • Battle of Trafalgar

    Greatest loss of Napoleon, but it helped him stop trying to conquer all of Europe.
