Sparks debate about rights for women. Oct 5, 1789 Third Estate women storm Versailles. They demand stored grain and bread. Oct 6, 1789 Monarchy moves to Paris 1790 Civil Constitution of the Church. Clergy and Bishops must be elected. Church refuses. 1791 Voting rights given to working citizens. Monarch's rights taken away.
