  • Declaration of all men's right to speak. Sparks debate about rights for women.

  • Third Estate women storm Versailles. They demand stored grain and bread.

  • Monarchy moves to Paris

  • Civil Constitution of the Church. Clergy and Bishops must be elected. Church refuses.

  • Voting rights given to working citizens. Monarch's rights taken away.
