The estates general was a old government organization created at Versailles. The king was hoping to get more tax revenue, and the third estate wanted better representation. The first and second estates voted against the any changes the third estates wanted. The first and second estate had the majority in the votes and they wanted the same thing.

This was a group formed by the third estate. There goal of this was to restrict the taxes and to bring down the power of the king. There goal here was to make things more fair for them and to get them more say. they called it the National Assembly because they were representing 96% of the nations people.

This was the third estates way of showing they that they were ready for whatever comes for them. This is also where they got weapons to fight back against the first and the second estate.

The Constitutional Monarchy was formed when the third estate had overthrown the king. This was the first step in sharing some of the powers with the third estate. In doing this about 2/3 of the men got a vote. If you wanted to vote you had to pay minimal taxes.
