France had already been in debt from previous kings borrowing money but now the french debt nearly doubled. Also the french third estate was doing very poorly because of the price of bread doubling. This made a big impact to the french revolution because the king was not able to give poor people money for food.

    The american revolution ended in september 3, 1783. The revolution made america a free country and gave americans' freedom. America rose from being a colony and made its own government made to protect the people. This is a highly important event for the french because it gave the lower class the idea of rebbeling to get what they want just like the americans did.

Soon after this nobles and members of the clergy joined up with the delagates. This got the king very nervous andmade him put guards around his palace. The reason why this event was so important was because the Tennis Court Oath was the first time french citizens formally stood against the king.

A mob went into a prison searching for arms and killed the warden and serveral guards before taking over the building. Then they took the heads of the men they killed, put them on spikes and paraded the streets. This event was the first act of violence that led to the french revolution.

The frech declaration gave rights to men that were citizens of france. However, the declaration did not give rights to women. This event was again important since it finally gave rights for the first time to all french citizens.

Then the people took over the palace. Then the people asked the king and queen to return to paris. This event made the king lose total control over france and gave the power to the people.

The constitution also called for a election of new legislature. The new governing body took office in september 21. This was another important event in the revolution since it abolished monarchy and made france a republic.

Then the French invaded the palace where king and queen were and put them in prison. This was a major struggle for the revolutionists since they are not only fighting loyalists but also other countries which caused major catastrophes.

The king went to the guillotine with dignity and was killed in the least cruel way possible. The cruel and weak monarch was finally killed and a republic was formed. Because of this important event the french citizens met a milestone in their revolution and hadalso made more problems for the national convention.

It was kind of ironic how the french got what they were trying to get rid of- an evil tyrantt. Becuase of his death people were once again allowed to speak freely. This event was very important since the french got rid of a tyrant made the legislative convention make a new form of government.
