The citizens didn’t want to pay so much for taxes. They were mad about it and so they voted for less money but they didn’t have that much of an advantage towards it. they weren't really the ones that were incontrole all that much.

The Girdonins (Moderates) wanted to keep a monarchy but decrease its powers. The Jacobins (Radicals) wanted France as a republic. And they intruded into the king's castle which was in Paris, and postponed his powers.

The First and Second Estate locked out the Third Estate from their meeting place by order of the king but in the end was unsuccessful because they created a new court. It was the largest group of people so they had the advantange.

The Third Estate moved into an indoor tenis court and held their meetings.Making the “Tennis Court Oath,” promise they wouldnt leave until the constitution of France was written and finnished. Then Louis aloud each representative to vote.

Now there was a new calendar being used for twelve years too! Several people disagreed with this method they even changed the clock only ten hours a day.

The Jacobins supported the reign of terror.
The Girdonnins wanted democratic revolution. -
The Great Terrors had occurred; the guillotine was responsible, it was used to behead around 45,000 people. It had also killed Marie Antoinette. This went on for about a year or so.

The Jacobins and the Girdonnins decide there was no need for a monarchy and now France is known as a Republic. Guilty of Treason Louis is sent to be beheaded.

A deputy for the Third Estate rises to concur. So being a Jacobin he wanted Republic leading the reign of terror killing thousands of innocent people he was Maximilien Robspierre. Georges Danton was a Girodin so for him not believing the Reign of Terror he was beheaded.

Robspierre finally had fallen. People finding it more rational to go against him than to support him. Taking his power away he was beheaded like all the others for ridiculous reasons.
