  • The Fall of the Bastille

    A french mob conspired to storm the Bastille and take over in order to remove King Louis XVI from power, they stormed the royal armory then attacked the prison. It was a great victory even though there were only 7 prisoners.

  • Nobles

    Nobles started to appear and take power.

  • Kidnapped

    They stormed the royal home and took the king and his family hostage.

  • The Legislative Assembly in Power

    The Legislative Assembly becomes the Convention and the Monarchy is abolished.

  • The Republic!

    The republic of france is declared after monarchy is abolished.

  • Execution

    The French Republic had executed Former King Louis XVI after trial in December.

  • The Terror Begins

    The Terror Begins in France

  • France Revolutionary

    Committe declares France Revolutionary not consitutional

  • Arrest and Execution of two men

    Danton and Desmoulins are arrested. They are guillotined 6 days later.

  • Jacobin

    The Convention closed all Jacobin clubs in Paris.

  • The Directory

    The Directory becomes the governing body of France.

  • Napoleon Wins

    Napoleon beats the Austrians in battle.

  • The Royalists Win

    The Royalists win many seats in the Directory in the elections.

  • The Jacobins

    The Jacobins are victorious in France's elections

  • The End

    Napoleon takes over the Directory. This is the end of THE REVOLUTION.
