Bread and grain skyrocket in price
The cost of bread and grain went up because there was less supply than there was demand. This caused trouble and hardhsips for everyone. To buy bread it costed people months of hard work to get the money. This caused rioting, looting and killing because people were so desperate. This had a very big role of the french revolution. -

The Great Fear was a period of time where there was panic and rioting by peasents and other people.The Great Fear was caused by the storming of the Bastille and because people feared that the aristocrats were going to wage a counter revolution. These riots were also cause by economic concerns. -

The constituent assembly destoreyed the entire feudal system. It abolished the Manorialism of the second estate. Manorilism was a part of feudilism, peasents were dependant on their land and the lord. More inportantly over the period of a few hours most of the inportant people lost their special privladges. -

The declaration of the Rights of Man and of the citizen was a charter of human liberties, containing the principles that inspired the french revolution. The main principles of this document was that men are born and remain free and equal in rights. France was proclamed a constitutional monarchy. -

King louis XVI was very worried and very nervous of how the french revoltion was going along. He feared the safety of his family. Corday thinks thinks Marat caused all of this and that he is causing all of these people to die. So then Corday goes into the house and kills Marat by stabing him in the chest. But then the killings and all of the bad things going on did not stop and they killed Corday. -

She was charged for incest with her son. So then she was arrested and sent to the guillotine and killed, she was 37 years old. She wrote a letter to her family saying how much she will miss them.. -

The Reign of Terror was a period of violence and time period where they killed people nonstop. Frances government had thousands of people arrested and killed. The Napoleonic code made the authority of men over their families more powerful. It deprived women and took away all of their rights. All male citizens were given equal rights under the law. This law was applied to all teretories under Napoleons control.
