    The Estates General Called, was summoned by Louis XVI to find a solutions to France's financial problems. This then was the beginning of the French estates. Which is three estates of the french society, which includes the clergy, nobility and the peasant classes.

    National Assembly Formed

    The ending of the third estate declaring themselves redefined as the National Assembly. They saw themselves as a people not as a estates. They did invite the two other estates to join them. This was the beginning of the French Revolution.

    The third estate, now calling themselves the National Assembly, were locked out of their regular meeting place and saw this as the King disbaning them. They moved their meeting place toa tennis court. This is where they all took an oath that stated “not to separate, and to reassemble wherever circumstances require, until the constitution of the kingdom is established.”

Its purpose was to purge France of enemies of the revolution and protect the country from foreign invaders.

    The Reign of Terror ended in Robespierre's and his allies' execution. The aftermath of the reign of terror was enabling prisons and the idea of the French Revolution became less radical. A positive outcome of the end of the Reign of Terror was allowing for more people to have political rights and freedoms.
