On May 5th 1789, the Estates General was a meeting that was controlled by the three estates. The clergy (the first estate), nobility (the second estate), and commoners (the third estate). -
This was a subversive assembly formed by the representatives of the third estate, of the estates general. They called themselves the "National Assembly" since they spoke for at least 96% of the nation. -

A prison on the east side of paris was attacked by a aggressive, displeased mob. The reason why they demolished the prison was not to free any prisoners, but to get ammunition and arms. -
The constitutional monarchy was the first written constitution of France. Then the whole country became a constitutional monarchy which was followed by the collapse of Ancien Regime.

Robespierre stated that terror would be the "order of the day." During the French Revolution, the reign of terrors was a conflict between people who shared the same political purpose, but differed in some respect to the entity. -
The Reign of terror ended when Robespierre was removed from power and was later then executed.
