    The second estate forced Louis XVI to calla meeting called the Estates-General. This meeting had representatives from all three estates to approve of the new tax. This meeting was held at Versailles.

    The Third Estate turn into the National Assembly, they pass laws in the name of the people. In a majority win the third estate declares themselves as the National Assembly on June 17th,1789. This was the end the of absolute monarchy and the beginning of representative government.

    On July 14, 1789 French radacalists attacked the Bastille which was a prison in Paris. The radacaliists overwhelmed the guards and took over the prison. Then they took the heads of the people they killed and put them on pikes and paraded around with their enemies heads in the air. This day in history is the same as July 4th in the U.S as JUly 14th is in France.

    Nobleman gave great speechs about their love of equality and liberty. They did this out of fera not from their own ideas. They agreed with the National Assemblys ideas and beliefs.

    in th eyear of 0789, perisian women started riots because th eprice off bread was skyrocketing. The women had many weapon when they marched into Versailles. When they got there they demanded the National Assembly do something about the rising prices of bread. They also killed guards and told Louis and Mary Antoinette to go back to paris, eventually Louis suprisingly agreed.

    The Legaslative Assembly acted by declaring war. A prussian commander told the French if they killed anyone in the royal family that they would destroy Paris.

    On the day of January 21, 1793 former King LouisXVI faced his charges by being put to death by none other than the gulliotine. He was tried for treason.
  • Radicalism is over

    Radicalism is over
    Members of the National Convention wanted Robespierre executed because of what he was doing to France. He was executed by the gullitine on July 28, 1794.
