    King Louis XVI called representatives from each of the three estates to discuss raising taxes so France wouldn't have financial issues. The King wanted approval from all three estates. Of course, the third estate didn't agree to this considering they were the only ones being taxed. The plan backfired against the King, with the third estate realizing they were the majority of the people in France and that they could easily overthrow the King.

    The Storming of the Bastille was when an angry mob set its course to a prison in Bastille. The angry mob busted into the prison freeing only seven prisoners. This event sparked a lot of the action taken place afterward.

    The Reign of Terror started when the King and his mistress are beheaded. Soon a group called the Committee of Public Safety, led by Maximilien Robespierre executed many others for not sharing the safe beliefs. The Reign of Terror ended when the people of France eventually killed Robespierre and set up a Constitutional monarchy.

    Marie Antoinette was put on trial for two days. Before that, the monarchy was abolished. Antoinette was found guilty of treason to the Revolution. She was sentenced to death by guillotine in the Place de la Revolution.

    The Execution of Robespierre was an important standpoint in the French Revolution. The citizens of France finally took a step into the action and stopped the irrational executions. Ironically the only way of doing this was by executing Robespierre.

    This is when Napoleon came to power in France.The French citizens supported him more than any other ruler over them because he kept many ideas of the Revolution. Such as equality, liberty, and protection of property. The main reason he stays in power is the support of the people.
