    The reign of terror took place in 1793-94. They began killing the people that were being sectioned as "suspects," what I mean by suspects is people that are against the revolution. If people could not prove their worth they will become a suspect. When they were named as suspect they were most likely executed by the geatein. Many people were executed by the geatain, many more than 1,400 people.

    Storming of the bastille
    The storming of the bastille occurred in Paris, France. The prison was taken over by many people. At first when they first met with the prison Launays men were holding the angry mob off, until the gunpowder and cannons were seized. The men had to draw the white flag and surrender their fortress. The 7 prisoners were freed. The prison was attacked because it was a hated symbol of the monarchy that held political prisoners.

    Women's March also known as the October walk. This was the main reasons that there are women's rights today. This huge protest went on during 1789. They protested for all things that woman did not get. They wanted the same rights that the men had.

The revolutionaries thought that could bring the king around to support the revolution. Also he was suspected with being connected with other foreign countries

    On September 21, 1792 the monarchy was abolished. Then a year later a 2 year trial was put in to act Marie was convicted of Revolutionary Tribunal of high treason. She was executed by the guillotine.

    During this time this is when Napoleon stood up and took power. He began gaining power over the years by going through the ranks in the military. Soon enough during the revolution he crowned himself emperor in 1804.
