Louis XVI takes the Throne
With the new king being in charge of a whole country is a big challenge to agree. King Louis didn't know how handle the situation of the country, so instead on focusing on the issues of the country. He didn't give it importance and kept acting like nothing was wrong. -

Meeting of the Estates General
King Louis XVI summoned the Estates General to solve the crisis of the countries financial situation. Three different classes represented the estates general. Due to the lowest class always being overruled by the 2 upper classes. The third estate ( lowest class ) decided to form their own assembly. -
Fall of the Bastille
Due to all the unfairness of the country political power. Angry crowds of citizens went towards Bastille, a fortress used as a prison. The citizens took over the fortress and King Louis withdrew his royal troops from the capital of France. -
A new France, Royal family gone?
The National Assembly decided to limit the kings authority in the new form of government, but Louis and Marie Antoinette decided to leave France and go to Austria. His wife's home country and come back and take over France again. But just a few miles out they were caught and turned back to face punishment. -
The King of France is no More.
After trying to escape and many other chargers on his trial. It's not until January 21 that King Louis is executed by guillotine. -

An era in the French Revolution that was battle between two groups for control and it lead to the execution of many citizens and thousands were killed. -
Napoleon takes control
After a new Constitution was made but overthrown by Napoleon in Nov 10, 1799 and a new dictator of France. Came to be the end of the French Revolution ands the beginning of Napoleons dictatorship. -
