    This is the first constitution of France. It was created after the collapse of the monarchy. It wrote out the individual rights of men and women.
    This is an important event because it lays out what the citizens want for their country instead of what one person wants.

    Previously, French citizens stormed the palace and demanded the rmoval of the king. The french didn't think that it was right to have a monarchy. They did everythig they could for the removal of the king.

    Louis was tried for high treason and condemned to death. He had previously attempted to escape from France. People began to dislike him after he was returned by guard.
