The meeting of The Eastates-General
The French eastates twas organized into the first eastate (the clergy),the second eastate (nobles) and the third eastate (everyone else) summoned by King Louis XVI. This event helped to cause the French Revolution because the representation was unequal among the eastates -
National Assembly
Was formed by the Third eastate. They wanted to reform the government. This began the point of the French Revolution. -
Tennis Court Oath
Members of the Third Estate gathered together at a tennis court. The Tennis Court Oath was a plege to create a new constitution.
This helped cause the Revolution by starting to limet the king's power. -
Storming of the Bastille
Was a fortress and perison in Pairs during the French Revolution. It was stormed to get weapons and free the prisioners.It was a symobol of the monarchy and will it fall it helped heat up the French Revolution. -
March of Versailles
There was an angry mob of women armed with pitchfolks,pikes, and muskets. The woman marched from Pairs to Versailles in the rain to demand food supplies. This helped to cause the revolution because it showed how unpopular the king was.
