Louis XVI being crowned king was the first thing that happened in the French Revolution. Orginally Louis's father 'The Daupin of France" was suppose to be crowned. With his father's died of tuberculosis Louis XVI was next in line so he became king at the age of 11.

The Estates-General was the first meeting of the french since 1614. This wasnt really a great idea but it was a way to pass laws and reforms to the government.
