    At this time each estate had one vote. The first and second could vote against the third estate to keep their power. The representatives from the third estate got mad and demanded it should be voting by population to give the third estate an advantage.

    The third estate declared themselves a national assembly. So Louis XVI locked them out of the meeting. So the third estate went to a tennis court to stay together and create a constitution. Then Louis ordered all estates to come together as the national assembly and vote by population on a constitution for France. Also the oath states that the estates cannot separate.

    When the news got out of Louis' plan to use military against the national assembly there was a storming in the Bastille. Paris citizens made their own government which were called Commune. Factions were also competing for leadership in Paris. Also nobles were attacked, So Louis was forced to use the new three color flag.

    This declaration of rights included rights for Men like freedom of religion, freedom of speech, liberty, equality, fraternity, and more. Women on the other hand didn't have all the same benefits. Olympe de Gouges argued that in her declaration of rights. Also Madame Jeanne Roland was a leader for women because she was able to influence her husband who was big in government, overall women gained some more rights during the revolution.

    This march began with women in Paris who were starting a riot over the high prices of bread. Quickly they started to influence the revolution by seeking liberal reforms and a constitutional monarchy. This then grew to thousands of people. They then raided an armory for weapons and successfully pushed to the Palace of Versailles and came to Louis' attention.

    Even with all the military success the national convention still faced domestic conflict. Danton and Jacobin started running french politics. Those that were accused of treason were tried by the Revolutionary Tribunal. About 15,000 deaths were made by guillotine. Jacobin started this and eventually Danton even wanted to stop this. It ended by all members of the public safety committee.
