the National Assembly was formed after the 3 Estates voted on if the 2nd Estate should have to pay taxes and the 3rd Estate was once again out voted.The taxes went up for the people in the 3rd Estate. After that meeting the the 3rd Estate got together and said that the where gonna form a new assembly, one that truly represented the french people.

The attack on th Bastille
this was kinda the star of the French Revoultion. On july 13 the frenc people robed gunstores. the next day 900 people stood outside of the Bastille. around 1:30 the anger people pushed there way to the main entrace 2 the Bastille. The powder and guns were seized that day.

Cause of the Revolution
The cause of the French Revolution was the food shortage and the debt.The debt started when king louie was getting revenge on the brithish by prviding the 13 clonies with most of there money and wepons during the american Revolution. The Queen's constant spending of the money on her self isnt helping with the debt either. The food shortage is because all the food is either at the palace or is too expensitve.

War against Austria
France Declared war on Austria first with the Assembly voting for war on April,20. After a long list of grievances prstened by foreign minister Dumouriez. He perpared an immediate invation of Austrian Netherlands, where he exspected the people to rise up against Austrain rule. However the revolution had disorganized the army, and the forces raised where not enough for the invastion.

The 140 swiss gurad in fance was made when louis XI retained a swiss company for his personal guard.Out of the 9 hundered gurad defending the place about 6 hundered where killed fihting or massacred after surrender. Some of them were put in perison, most either died of there wounds or were killed in the septmeber massacer that followed.
