    Estate General called in By The King
    King calls the estate general into session to review and find a solution to the governments finacial crisis. The people in which who attended were the nobility, church, and the common people. Taken place in versallies. Before this time there were meeting since 1614. Through-out the argument the First and Second estate were having issues with the Third Estate. So with this the third estate had created the national assembly.
  • Tennis Court Oath

    Tennis Court Oath
    During the estates general meeting, the Third Estate was denied entry to the main conference room in which the king and the First and Second estate met. Instead of attempting to get in, they decided to go to the tennis court, inwhich they had discussed there things. From there they signed a document inwhich was signed by 576 people out of 577. It was led by a Honoré Gabriel Riqueti. They were called the National Assembly.

    On July 17th 1789 a huge gang/mob of folks formed and had attempted to raid the Bastille. Which was an ancient prison in which had weapons and gunpowder. In the end they were sucessful on there raid and acquired lots of gun power and guns. On top of getting there gunpowder and guns is they had killed the governer and the leader of the Bastille. At the time the Bastille was a fortress. This attack had marked the beginning of the French Revolution.

This anger grew to a mob in which they had marched to the king's palace to get there say in the bread. This had forced the king and his family back to paris because of the angry mob.     The abolition of Nobility and Titles had caused the second estate to lose power and aswell as the first estate which had lost only a certain amount of power. The third estate also known as the revolutionaires had accomplished this abolishment.

    Thirty Thousand french citizens had ransacked Tuileries Palace. In there ransack they were looking for the king. But they were too late, he had fled with his family and had went into hiding. But regardless of the king gone they had killed everyone in the Palace. But later on the king was found and him and his family were all taken to prison.

    Was created to pretty much watch over the power within colonies. It consisted of about 25 members. But once Maximillien and Jacobins had taken over it was a dictatorship.

    Once political conflict had began between the two political factions Jacobins and Girondins , a series of terror had broke out. In which the gullotine was a major usage to use to dispute things and kill people.

    Once Maximillien Robespierre was imprisoned and killed the reign of terror had ended. After the National Convention had crossed him and sentenced him to the gullotine. All of his followers thought that the fighting must stop once he was gone. Then people began to relax. Danton rose was one person who had called for a stop to the terror.

    There was a new idea of the French Directorate in which was popular than the consititution. In 1795 the Directorate had became the new government in France. It consisted of five people who were chosen by the council of ancients.

    Napoleon was now the man in charge of France. He could now steer and put France on the right path for a great nation.
