    Meeting of the Estates General
    The Meeting of the Estates General was a meeting to raise taxes because of his expansive lifestyle and funding the American Revolution and needed to raise a lot of money fast but the problem was each Estate was given one vote so the Third Estate knew that the First and Second would team up so It was decided that each person in the Estates General meeting were to be given one vote. This worked to the advantage of the third estate which had the the most people in it.
  • Storming of the Bastille

    Storming of the Bastille
    Bastille was a prison the prisoners were sent there by the king without any trial. Most cases it was because they displeased the king in some way or form.The people of the Revolution stormed the Bastille to take a crazy amount of gunpowder that were stored in it. The storming of the Bastille became a symbol of the fall of tyranny.

    The National Assembly was created in August, 1789 In the hope of making a list of rights for man and the citizen from the Monarchy. Some things the National Assembly is was release peasants and farmers from feudal contracts, In the Tennis Court they made an oath, pledging to create new constitution, and also creating the Constitution of the Clergy.

    Louis was arrested and brought to a prison with his family, tried for high treason from the National Convention and sentanced todeath. At that day of his execution he was crying out a speech but the drummers drummed so loud that it blocked his voice.
