Storming of Bastille
When the French stormed the prison with the intention to replace the two person government with a representative government. A mob of parisians went to the bastille looking for weapons. They also stormed the bastille to break out enemies of france. When members of the mob killed the commander of the prison they cut his head off, put it on a stick , and paraded with it through the streets. -
Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen
The National Assembly started to fight for their rights that they deserved.They wanted liberty,equality,property, and the right to resist opperation. This declaration laid out the basic principles of the french revolution. -

The National Convention was elected to provide new constitution for the country after the over throw of monarchy. -
Execution of the King
The new National Convention comanded the king to his death. The newly elected National Convention declared france a republic. The king was executed by the mountain because they thought if he were to live the monarchy may come back in affect. -
Reign of Terror
For about a year the purose was to purge france of enemies of the revolution and protect the country from foreign terrors. The outcome was the fall or Robespierre. Many people were concerned about the course of the revolution .Countries outside of france were worried enough about the revolution to make war against france. The Reign of Terror became known for creating a wave of fear throughout the country.
