king louis 16 respond to the creation of the D.R.M by placing guards all over paris, this causes the french citizen to freak out and arm themselves. -
attack on the bastille
the citizens of france had guns but they did not have gun powder, the people attack fort bastille on hopes of finding gun powder, the attack was succesfull the people get gun powder. (this is the official start of the revolution) -
bread march
a bunch of women from paris marched 12 miles to varsialle, they were armed with muskets, pistols, pitchforks, lances,etc, they wanted food and king louis the 16 to sign the D.R.M, this succeded they forced the king to sign the D.R.M and brought the food to paris. -
royal escape
the revolution has been going on for 2 years,the king and queen were put under house arrest, and were forced to sign any paper the national assembly had voted in as law, the king trys to escape but takes the royal carage and is caught, the king was now thrown in jail, now paris is under a democracy. -
