The Estate General of 1789 was a time when the 3rd Estate was heavily outvoted and had no chance against the Clergy or the Nobles over the tax rights. Later the National Assembly was born from the outrageous 3rd Estate from this. -
The Causes of French Revolution
Causes of the French Revolution,The French people were very poor in wealth and in possessions however there were some,just a very small amount,that was very, very rich.These rich men were known as the 2nd Estate who got all the bread,all the wealth.France was in a very large financial issue and since of the 2nd Estate hoarding all the bread and wealth the French people wanted change. -

The Nation Assembly,it was created on June 10,1789. The National Assembly was created after the Court meeting when the 3rd Estate was trying to make it so the 1st and 2nd Estate have to pay taxes. The 3rd Estate was heavily outvoted,enraged,The National Assembly stormed out of the Court and went to make a statement for there own and others rights. The Declaration of the Rights of Man. -

The Declaration the Rights of Man,The D.R.M was created shortly after the National Assembly was created.The D.R.M was created so all French "men" would have equal rights and that no man would be counted into jail unjustifly. -
Tennis Court Oath
The Tennis Court Oath,The National Assembly vowed to not leave until the D.R.M was finished.The reasoning for them being on a Tennis Court was the fact that King Louis XVI had "locked there door" to there old meeting place. (Very clever Louis) -
Fall of the Bastille
King Louis XVI sent his army to surround Paris. The commoners feeling frightened and offended grabbed all the weapons they could..but had no gunpowder. One place had all the gunpowder..the Bastille. The commoners stormed straight through the gates decapitated the guards and skewering them on pikes.The commoners had won, -
The Bread March
Women riot,they had finally decided to take action they got all the weapons they could and headed to Versailles.They demanded the King fix the issues happening such as lack of bread,the funds and there rights.They then also demanded the King come back to Paris,when he hesistated they became enraged murdering the guards and decapitating them and sticking them on pikes. They then chased after the King and most importantly the "Queen".As they had not made it they were captured brought to Paris. -
Royal Escape
King Louis XVI,he had it,he lost more and more power every day. He had to do something and fast. He gathered his family and dressed as bourgeise and attempted escape in his "royal" carriage. He was caught only miles from the Austria border. -
Death of King Louis XVI
The Death of King Louis,Louis was finally executed on the 21st of January 1793 for treason on the French Republic after attempting escape to Austria in 1792,meaning King Louis was in jail for over a year. -

The Reign of Terror,was when thousands of men lost there lifes to the guillotine.The Reign of Terror started because of Robespiere making sure to allow no treasoners to be left alive for the new goverment. -
