    The Estate General of 1789 was a time when the 3rd Estate was heavily outvoted and had no chance against the Clergy or the Nobles over the tax rights. Later the National Assembly was born from the outrageous 3rd Estate from this.

The National Assembly was created after the Court meeting when the 3rd Estate was trying to make it so the 1st and 2nd Estate have to pay taxes.     The Declaration the Rights of Man,The D.R.M was created shortly after the National Assembly was created.The D.R.M was created so all French "men" would have equal rights and that no man would be counted into jail unjustifly.

    The Tennis Court Oath,The National Assembly vowed to not leave until the D.R.M was finished.The reasoning for them being on a Tennis Court was the fact that King Louis XVI had "locked there door" to there old meeting place. (Very clever Louis)

    King Louis XVI sent his army to surround Paris. The commoners feeling frightened and offended grabbed all the weapons they could..but had no gunpowder. One place had all the gunpowder..the Bastille. The commoners stormed straight through the gates decapitated the guards and skewering them on pikes.The commoners had won,

    Women riot,they had finally decided to take action they got all the weapons they could and headed to Versailles.They demanded the King fix the issues happening such as lack of bread,the funds and there rights.They then also demanded the King come back to Paris,when he hesistated they became enraged murdering the guards and decapitating them and sticking them on pikes. They then chased after the King and most importantly the "Queen".As they had not made it they were captured brought to Paris.

    King Louis XVI,he had it,he lost more and more power every day. He had to do something and fast. He gathered his family and dressed as bourgeise and attempted escape in his "royal" carriage. He was caught only miles from the Austria border.
