    Craig went down stairs for breakfast. He went outside and grabbed the news paper. He skimmed over the first page headline. It said "Battled child labour murrdured" That seemed intresting. He read it. It was about a kid nammed Iqbal mashi that got murrdred in his village for standing against child labour. When Craig went to school he asked who wants to help him reasurch. 11 people raised their hands. Craig got a paper and wrote down there names.

    Craig found the idea of naming his organization FTC. Craig was talking to a lady from the human rights organization. The lady said that Craig will have to see the children his self to find more. The other day Craig asked his mom if he can go to Aisa, his mom said no. One day Craig's friend Alam was going to south Aisa. He asked Craig to come with him. His mom said yes. He and his friends wrote a huge letter to the prime minister of canada about FTC.
  • CHAPTER 3 DHAKA

    Craig and Alam borded a flight to Dhaka. Over there people say that girls should not be going to school. Only boys should be going to school. Some children quit school because their teacher beats them alot. The child labours in Dhaka get less then a Hundred taka's per month. That is less then a 1 dollar. In Dhaka more then 50 000 children work in the germent indutry. The children who work in the carpet factory get 350 taka's in one month. (about 2 dollars)
  • CHAPTER FOUR BACK TO DHAKA

    From Dhaka they made a plan to go to got to Calcuta by bus then take a flight to go to Bankok. They went to the bus station. At 11 Alam woke Craig The bus came. That bus goes to the indian border. Soon the bus stopped. After 7 kilometeres they had walked, they found a Richsaw driver who agreed to take them to the ferry. When Craig and Alam reached the ferry. They went to the airport in Calcuta. The flight was full. Forchnetly some one cancled their ticket, so they bordrded a plane for Bankok.
  • CHAPTER FIVE BANKOK

    Ian Hamilton was the only person they had contact with in Bankok. He was their host. Craig and Alam's first meeting was about child workers in Aisa. Child labour starts with poverty. It was Christmas eve. People don't celebrate Christmas that much in Bankok. At his home on Christmas eve his mom performs piano infront of everyone.
  • CHAPTER 6 CALCUTTA

    CHAPTER 6 CALCUTTA
    The next morning Craig and Alam took a flight to Calcutta. Craig and Alam had to go to a press confrence with the leader of the humam rights organization from Dheli, Kailash. Craig found out that there are 55 million child workers and 60 million jobless parents in India. Half of a million children work in the fire cracker factory. Next morrning Craig and atleast 50 more people were holding up signs that say "Stop buying fire crackers." The day before Craig was leaving he met with mother Treasa.
  • CHAPTER SEVEN KATHMANDU

    The first thing Craig and Alam did was just wonder around the streets. They whould talk to all the Child workers they saw. Most of them were tea and shoe polishing shops. People work 12 hours a day for 12 rupees.That is less than 1 dollar. It was new years eve, Craig was playing with all the children. He learned to play a game called carrom. Soon he had to go.

    CHAPTER EIGHT VARANASI
    In Calcutta Craig and Kailash made plans to meet in Dheli. All the tickets for Dehli were full. So they went to Varanasi, the closest place to Dheli. When they reached there they went to the train station. There was no train to Dheli. A few days later with some plans they went to the carpet factory with the police and freed every kid and took them to their village. Then they went to Dheli by train.
  • CHAPTER NINE DHELI

    Craig and Alam were staying at Kailash's house. They ate mostly meat. Later that day Craig and Alam went to the rehablitation camp. There were lot's of kids playing around. Everyone except a boy who was sitting to the corner were having fun. Craig went to the boy. His name was Nagshir. He was 14 years old. He told Craig his very sad story.
  • CHAPTER 10 KARACHI AND ISLAMABAD

    Craig and Alam went to Pakistan. They had a meeting schewled with the prime minister of Canada for fifteen minutes. The priminister was there for a business trade. He does not care about child labour and poverty. Craig talked to the prime minister about human rights, child labour, poverty, and FTC The prime minister congratulated Craig for his inishitive.

    CHAPTER ELEVEN LAHORE
    Craig and Alam took a bus to Lahore where the investigation for Iqbal was going on. The police report said that Iqbal was riding bikes with his cousins and then suddenly The carpet maufia appeared and shot Iqbal. Iqbal was 19 years old. The Human rights organization said that he got shot accsidenly by a farmer and Iqbal was 15 year old. He was sold when he was 6 years old on 1986 and he died on 1995.

    In thease days Craig learned alot. He learned how to play cricet. He also learned a lot about Mahathma Gandi. Craig enjoyed the meals alot. There was one more week before he returnes to Toronto. Craig was sad he did not want to leive the beautiful city bombay.

    That was the day when Craig and Alam reached Toronto with a mind full of information. They could write a whole book. The canadian media came to interview Craig. After Craig went straight to his FTC Office. He told his parents about all the children he talked to. The next morning Craig saw his self on T.V. After Craig was giving speaches. Craig built over 650 schools and educated more than 55 000 children around the world. He inspired many people to help in events called "We Day."
