    This event was when the French Population was divided into three social classes. The first two were called: "The Privileged Estates", the other one called "The third estate"

    During this time France's economy which was always very rich started to decline

  • Meeting of the Estates Gernerals

    This meeting was called after the king wanted to raise taxes, the second estate made him call the meeting.

  • Start of revolution

    The British people were fed up and they decided to go against the higher class

  • National Assembly

    The third estate created this national assembly to discuss what they would do about France

  • Tennis Court Oath

    The kind locked out the National Assembly out of their building, this is when they went into an indoor tennis court to continue planing the revolution

  • Storming the Bastille

    After rumors that the army was coming to take control of Paris people started to arm themselves. They stormed the French Jail to look for gunpowder and weapons.

  • Civil Constitution of Clergy

    This event was when the Church was reinstituted in France

  • Royal Family attempts to flee

    This event was when king Loius XIV and his wife attempted to flee to Austria

  • Execution of king

    King Loius the XIV was killed by a guillotine after this event.
