    Third Estate wanted to make changes in the government, insisted that all estates have a vote, so Emmanuel-Joseph Sieyes said that the third Estate should name themselves the National assembly, they passed laws (first act of revolution). The Third Estate was locked out of the meeting room so they broke the door down and enter into a tennis court this pledge was name Tennis Court Oath. Soon enough members of the clergy joined the Third Estate, Louis armed swiss guards on the outside of Versailles

It also stated that the people had equal justice, freedom of speech and freedom of religion. Leaders has a slogan that stated “Liberty, Equality, Fraternity” but it did not apply to all.
