Beacher T. and Alicia R. Buchanan of Florissant announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley R. Buchanan, to David McGhaw, son of Dorris McGhaw. The bride-to-be currently attends Lindenwood University, where she is pursuing a master's degree in technology education. She is employed by the Ferguson-Florissant School District. Her fiance received a degree in automotive technology from Ranken Technical College. They both reside in Florissant. An Oct. 13, 2012, wedding is planned.
