This would allow for more empires to rise in the place of the Eastern Roman empire it would also allow for some areas of eastern Europe to be independent. This impacted the world as it left another power vacuum and many nations the existed were able to be free from control.

    Columbus landing in the Caribbean allowed for the Americas and Europe to be in more contact with one another. This also caused the great dying of the native populations of the Americas greatly impacting them.
