After being a month out on sea I have already made some new friends and some new enemies. The captin is starting to push us to work harder. Some people on this ship do not like to work hard and do not like the captin for saying it but I think the captin is doing the right thing.

We are now sailing across the North Alantic Ocean and tensions are heating up the captin of the ship is working people too hard and they are starting to rebel. I fear for not only my life but of that of the captins life. I hope we reach land soon before the crew of this stip overthrows the captin.

We have finally found land it is not yet charted on the map so we have reason to beleive that no one has explored it yet. We are going to explore this island I am going to be the first landing party to go onto the island with the captin..... I am back from the island It was a beautiful island It apeared there were no natives there but we did see many spices there. We are going back for the spices on the return trip to Spain.

The ship crew is no talking about overthowing the captin I must get to the captin before they do to warn him .... I have warned the captin and he has successfully defended the crew thanks to the help of me and a few other crew members. I hope that they learned their lesson and will not return to overthrow the captin. The captin said that it will be another year before we reach the west indies I hope that he can last that long before the crew stages another mutiny.

I have a troubling thing to write; the captin was killed today by a sickness. I do not think it was a sickness I think he was poisened. Before the captin spoke his last words he named me the captin of the ship I accepted it it will be another two months before we reach the West Indies. Also the crew has seemed to be taking a liking to me. I am glad of that because maybe they will not kill me but I promise that I will find the killer of the captin and bring him to justice.

We have reached the west indies I will be going on a small raft to the island where we will gather spices and other things but we have spotted some natives here so we may have to trade with them.... I have returned from the island and we have plenty of spices to sell. We will explore some part of the New World and then we will head back to Spain.

We have reached Flordia where we will look for more spices for bigger ships, But Portugal is here I hope they have not recived all of the spices from the natives but we will see... We traded some spices from the ship to the Portugese for a spice that is valuable in our country that will sell for a lot of money. We are now going to go back to spain.

    Entry #350

On our return trip we saw something that peaked our interest we saw what looked like a jungle which may have a bunch of spices.... We explored some of the island but a wild cat attacked a couple of my crew and so we lost 7 crew members. But we got some good spices for our armada to explore more of the new world. We are going back to Spain now this has been one adventure I am glad to be apart of. I also have found the killer of the captin and we have killed him and dumped his body overboard.
