Today, my crew and I are preparing to leave from Cuba to the Phillipine islands. My crew includes 230 brave men who are willing to risk their lives in order to find precious jewls to bring back to Cuba. This journey is estamated to take roughly 1 year. This journey will be dangerous and men will die but we will succeed.

We finally arrived to our second port. We stopped in Mexico city. In Mexico city we restocked on food, we got about 15 crates to last us about 3 weeks. We also received medical supplies to help with some minor injuries. We will be heading back out to sea in about 48 hours.

Since our port stop, which was about 10 days ago, things have been going really well. The medical spplies have come in handy for all the minor injuries which have been seldom. Two of my men are extermly sick and not sure if they are going to make it. We have burned through 10 crates of food so far. Our next port stop is in 23 days so we will be able to resock on food then.

We've been 5 days without food but are stopping in Cabo San Lucas for some necessities. Everyone here speaks spanish so we are having a hard time communicating with them. This time we are going to get 18 crates of food instead of 15 and hopefully we won't run out. We are also going to get 35 gallons of water.

    exploration day 100
We are all tired, sick, and cold. We can't take much more of this. We are 20 days away from our next port and some of us wont make it another day. We've lost over 10 men from disease and 2 from dehydration. We still remain hopeful because we know what is waiting for us when we arrive in the Philippine islands.

We've been in Isla socorro for a little over 3 days. My men and I just needed some land time. This island is very underpopulated so help is minimule. There is an abundance of friut which we needed because we are so energy deprived. We will back at sea bright and early tomorrow.

Things are going well. The amount of casualties has dropped. We still have plenty of food and water to last until our next port stop. Some of my men have taken their own lifes due to all the stress. This is not easy but the reward is beyond what any of us can imagine.

WE MADE IT! We are now in the Philippine islands and we are loading the jewls onto the ship now. We still have a long trip back but we are prepared for anything now. We are so happy and ready to get home with our treasure. I didn't expect us to arrive here until about November. We will be staying here for about a week before we start our journey home to Cuba. I am so proud of all my men. We had some rogh sptos but we made it work and nerver gave up.
