    Day 1

Its my first day as an explorer. Im very excited on whats going to happen in the near future. We are starting at Cape Hope, a trade route to India, and I hope its not as bed as my fellow crew members complain. Everyone has been saying that there has been bad storms and sea monsters but that is ludacris.

    Day 2

This boat is hell. My fellow mates were not lying about the storms at Cape Hope but, i have not yet seen sea monsters... Rats were chasing each other around and crawling over us while we slept. Our meat has spoiled and the salt barely does the job to mask the undescribable taste. Atleast we are almost to the Mundra Port in India where we will hopefully get good rest and food.

    Mundra Port

    Mundra Port
We finally arrived at Mundra Port. The two days I have been out here have been terrible. The people here are so different from those back in South Africa. There are different smells here like spices I have never even heard of before! Like curry, and pepper we only hae salt. And, there food is so spicy! Even there clothes are different they wear clothes made out of cotton. But, I am scared of being in a new place without the ones I love.

    Day 3

Today we are at Port Mundra and it is very different. Our captain has not told us where we are staying yet, he just keeps avioding the question. So, I think we are sleeping wherever we can find tonight. Its already getting dark and there are a lot of rats in this port. I am going to stay positive and just trust my captain.

    Port Kandla

    Port Kandla
We are in Port Kandla now took 1 day to get here and the travel was okay. This port isn't at all different from Port Mundra except here there are a few more languages that I don't know how to speak. This port has a lot of great things here. The food is still spicy as ever and the people here are nice when they want to be. I see a lot of people living in poverty and i feel sorry for them but, I am here for a job so I have to do that job.

    Day 4

It is our 4th day into our adventure and I'm now seeing the good in this trip. But, last night was terrible we found rat droppings in our food, so we had to eat spoiled meat. Bon appetit I guess. This morning has been wonderful because last night we had a place to stay! Some of our crew has become ill and we have no medical team on board so i hope that they will be okay.

    Port New Mungalore

    Port New Mungalore
We are in Port New Mungalore and it is so different here than the other ports we wen't to. Granted, they have spicy food and cotton clothing but the people here are so rude they just want your business and then you leave no interaction, nothing you just do your trade then leave. There are a lot of other people here to trade with India from South Africa, Australlia, and other places. So, it was kind of hard to wait with all of this people in our way.

    Day 5

Last day of our exploration and I am quite happy that i get to go home and back to my family. This voyage has been a good job a nd life expirience for me that not a lot of people get to take. The crew mambers that were sick got better in a matter of days and they will be seeing a doctor by the time we get back to Spain. I thank our captain for letting us go on the voyage and for him being so kind and understanding and keeping us alive and feed over the course of five days.

    Port Chennai

    Port Chennai
This is our last port that we are visiting on out trip to the India trade route. This has been my favorite port out of the five that we have visited. The people here are kind and they care about your well being. The food here is amazing! There curry here is not so spicy it burns your mouth off and now after I find a port that I love and we are going home now. I want to again thank my captain for letting me take this adventure

    Port Cochin

    Port Cochin
We are now in Port Cochin and this place is a lot smaller than the other ports we have visited. They are very polite and want to talk to you even after you have done the trade. They have offered us a place to stay and we are hoping that it is a good place because last night we didn't get any sleep in Port New Mangalore.
