Comparing - Continuity and Continuity Editing
Comparing the Preliminary Tak to our thriller 'Blood Thirst' We can see we have improved greatly. from our continuity editing. In our preliminary Task, we did not use an props and dressed completely normal, which we could have imporved on more to suit the roll, however in out Thriller, we used props such as the gun and phone. However we used the match on action, eye line match and 180 degree rule better in our preliminary task than the thriller which we could have improved on. -
Continuing Comparing- Quality of Sound
In terms of quality of sound, the sound was not very clear in our preliminary task as we did not use a microphone, however in our thriller 'blood thrist', we did not have this issue as it was a silent thriller and we mainly used a backing track. We could have also improved with the sound in our preliminary task as we did not use a backing track or any cross fade audios and used straight dialogue, which became very boring to watch. -
Comparing - Quality of Shot
We have improved greatly on our quality of shot because we have learnt how to steadliy hold the camera and use the tripod effectively at the right times. We have also learnt who is best with steadyness which definatly improved our shots. -
Comparing - Quality Of Image
In our preliminary task, the lighting was not as clear as our thriller, However we have learnt about the backing light and which angles to film from correctly. Additonally, In our thriller we was outside using natural light which also helped us, rather than us the classroom light in our preliminary task. We also waiting for the right time to film in our thriller and when the sun would be out so that each character and shot was seen clearly. However we did add a black and white effect over.
