There is a range of technologies that I used during the research process. Some of these include;
- youtube;l for researching inspiring videos related to our genre and just any aspects of the video like the style, costume, edits, camerawork that i liked. Youtube was used for research across all 3 of my products as it was most convenient. I also researched videos for inspiration to do with artists who i wanted to use with regards to my digipak/advert because of the colour, font, text, graphics -

How did you use media technologies in the construction and research, plannig and evaluation stages? -
Research
Twitter was another piece of technology used. I used it to research how artists percieve their puiblicity and how successfiul they are. Could we make our artist this successful? -
Research
Facebook again is another way to find out about your target audience and artists as they use a range of different social media sites. This was most helpful for finding out what kind of music people listen to most. -
Research
Blogger is used to record all my notes, feedback =, anything i feel is relevant to music videos, digipks or advertisments i blog. To document our ideas and brainwaves along the way.
This is the most vital tool, I think, throughout the whole of the
A2 year as blogger is the only way to show your ideas. -
Reseach
Screensahots and videos are another vital part in the research process and goes along with blogger as this is the way you document your research. Screenshots can be taken of anything inspirational. I took them of artists, their adverts and album covers, certain shot types and editing techniques used in a video. As for videos, anything i thought was relevant, in particualr artists videos i was interested in. -

Blogger is used for everytihng and again i used blogger to record all my research and process in planing. all the videos, links, screenshots and any thoufghts or ideas i had, but didnt want to write them down. -

Final cut was used to create our animatic which illustrates an idea of how the storyline will be and what types of shots and camera movement will be used in our music video. also how and where the artist will be and what kinds of locations may be used. -

Photoshop was used apart of the planning to create a mock up for my digipak and advertisment after i'd planned it on paper. -

Prezi was the piece of technology we used to create our pitch. we decided to use prezi as it looks a lot more professional and is more creative, you can edit and make the work your own more freely. -

To make the website for our artist we used wix. it is easy to use and accessible. it was also convenient because of how quick it was to set up and all we done was make it our own, tendiong to the styke and theme of our artist. -

Youtube was used whilst planning again to demonstrate and illustrate the journey by showing what videos were influencial and what videos we liked realted to our genre, that gace us ideas for our own one. -
Post Production
Whilst our filming we used our phones to take pictures of footage and film videos of us discvussing what we're doing, where we are and how we're feeling.
This also represents the macs that we used for the whole process of this production; the software and utilities. -
Post Production
Final cut was used for the majority of the wrok done in post production for editing. We were able to use effects and create a professional looking video. We in particular madew the most of the types of filters and blur, merge effects, top give a hazy modern look. Also making the lights brighter and creating a asmooth cut from one shot to the next. -
Post Production
Vimeo was the technolofgy used to promote our final music video. This is good as it is available for other college stiudents to see as well as us showing our friends and family. This was good as it created a publicity for our artist. The chance for people to give their views and see what they think about our artist. -
Post Production
Tje JVC camera is the camera we used to film all of our footage with. Things like the white balance, auto focus and making sure the sound and the screen works well , as well as ensuring we have memory cards and the right ones are inside the camera are things we had to consider whilst using it. Not to mention taking care of it at all times.
I also used a Nikon camera to take pictures of the artist while we were out filming to post on blogger to illustrate what was going on and her style/theme. -
Post Production
the flip can was used to record any feedback we felt was relvant to put on the blog about our fihnalo music video and the advertisment and digipak. This was helpful as it it small an d convenient. it is easy to take data off as all you do is plug it directly in to the computeer, so no more fiddling with other wires. -
Post Production
Again throughout the post production process blogger was used to blog our final music video, the final outcomes of my ancillary texts and all pictures/screenshots of editing and costume, location along the way. As well as shot types and camerawork .All plans and drafts made for all 3 products also. -

youtube was used to embed videos i thought were relevant to the question particualrly in questions 1 and 2. -

Screenshots and videos were uploded for almost every question as they required to show examples of my work as well other peoples and other inspiring artists. Also for feedback purposes. -

Vimeo was used for question 1 to uplad the final of our video to make it look more professional on the blog. it was also easier to embed using vimeo rather than youtube. -

Prezi was used as it was most conventient for question 2, you can choose from a style of templtes to suit the style of quiestion and make it your own by choosing text and fint. It is also easier to embed videos and put in images and screenshots. -

Timetoast was used for question three as i thoufght it was most appropriate. The style of the question is one where you can go in chronological order and thats what i wanted to do. I though this would be the best piece of technology to illustrate this on. You can identify what piece of technology for what aspect of production and what time. -
Evaluation
Blogger is the ultimate piece of techology used throughout the whole production and this is where all my final ideas and answers to the questions are put. I used this for question 1 as it is simple but you can still add videos and images/screen grabs and customise text and layout.
