    Industrialization in Britain
    The industrialization in Britain was caused by people creating machines, factories, and mass production to help make objects easier and faster to make. This happened in all of Europe but it started most heavily in Britain. This revolution started in the late 1700s. It was started because countries needed to increase production with materials for wars and consumers demands. This is important in history because it caused many places all over the world to industrialize their own countries.
  • Haitian Revolution

    Haitian Revolution
    The Haitian revolution could possibly be argued that it was the biggest and most successful slave revolution in the western hemisphere. The revolution took place in Haiti, Saint Domingue and in Hispaniola. This slave rebellion took place over the years of 1791-1802. It is important to history because it was the most successful slave revolution in the western hemisphere. It connects to the other events because all the events were a revolution of some sort.
  • The Opium Wars

    The Opium Wars
    The Opium wars were fought between China and the Western countries. It was fought in China because the west was running out of funds to pay China for natural resources and forcing them to take opium as a payment. These wars occurred between the years of 1839-1842 and 1856-1860. These wars are significant because they needed a more controlling government over the entire country. This event is connected to the other events on the timeline by there being a rebellion or a war because of imperialism.

    Seven Weeks War
    The seven week wars fought between Prussia, and a few other countries. This occurred war occurred in Bohemia. This war was fought in 1866. It was fought because Austria wanted to leave Germany, Prussia won so Austria left Germany. It was significant to history because Prussian victory along with Austria leaving Germany.

    Woman's Sufferage
    Woman’s suffrage was a mid-nineteenth century movement to let women in America vote. This occurred in specifically America, and in the mid-nineteenth century. Women were fed up with not given the same rights as men so they started a movement that prevailed. This is significant because it started the woman's civil rights movement that would change the course of history forever.
