Eloise (23 years old) and Tobias (25 years old) made the decision to take each others hand in marriage because of their passion and deep connection to one another. Erikson's sixth stage (intimacy vs. isolation) adolescence have developed a sense of self and are ready to share our life with others, those we have not developed a sense of self may experience feelings of loneliness and isolation.

Eloise and Tobias had welcomed three children into this world and through the struggles of parenthood, they have discovered meaning and their life's work while raising their beautiful children. In Erikson's seventh stage (generativity vs. stagnation) when we reach our middle adulthood we contribute to the next generation through meaningful and productive work and those we do not feel as such, have a sense of they're not leaving a mark in this world.

Eloise and Tobias were facing their last days on earth and started looking back through their years and realized they had a long happy marriage, successful careers as a nurse and as a paramedic, and three beautiful children all contributing to society. In Erikson's eighth stage (integrity vs. despair) in late adulthood we start to reflect on our lives and feel satisfaction of what our lives have become or a sense of despair and regret.
