We moved to Basel, Switzerland (from Oakland, California) in late 2010.

We went to Barcelona, Spain as our first trip out of Switzerland, first time we had really travelled to a new country with kids. Had to figure out airplanes, and other activities with kids.

Kate was born on April 13, 2011

We went to Varenna, a small town on Lake Como in Italy for the first time, went back every year after that.

We were coming back from St. Moritz after skiing, and had nothing in the fridge, and the only thing open was McDonalds! What's funny is, without planning it, we went to McDonalds for the next two Christmas Eve Dinners!

We went to Morocco for the first time in 2014, and it was a very eye-opening experience I'm glad I, and the kids had. The most memorable part was pushing our 3-year-old daughter in her stroller with cars and motorcycles whizzing by at arm's length going (what seemed like) 60+mph

Parents sold their family home in Lafayette, (where I grew up), and moved to Napa Valley. Upsetting to lose the house where so many memories occured.

Got to go on my first mother-daughter trip with Jenna to London, and saw friends from California there too!

A highly anticipated tradition is Basel is using the current to swim down the Rhein river, the longest river in Europe, during the summer.

Both Blake and Jenna had to go to Geneva to take standardized tests as a part of their application to ASL (their school in London). The whole application process, for a middle school, was very memorable, but seeing their relief after finishing the tests was the best part.

Village Table is a charity group that cooks meals for the less-fortunate twice a month at the Wellesley Village church

I was very scared, but also proud to see the driver and man he's become.

My mother and father moved from Yountville, Ca to Weston, Ma in early October, and it's been great to see them almost every week since!
