    Order of Architecture Were Created

    Delian League

    The Greek City states wanted to form a group of defense as the Persians were still a strong threat to Greece. The maritime poleis on the coast of the Aegean form a defensive league.

    Some City States Take Offense to Athen's

    Because Athen's possessed the strongest fleet, they were the city state 'in charge' of the the defense against Athens. Some tried to back down, but Athens did not let them, clarifying it was an Athenian Empire with subject cities.

    Delos Treasure Moved to Athens

    A common idea among Greeks was that Delos was the birthplace of Apollo, which made it a very religious sanctuary for the Greeks. Many city states stores treasury here until Athen's decided to move it to Athen's

    Pericles was elected as a strategoi, or a man elected as a commander of tribal army units. Many people thought of him as a tyrant, however he made sure the poor citizens of Athens could participate in religious events

    Aeschylus was one of Athen's most accomplished playwrights. It told the tale of Aeschylus, who had fought at the Battle of Marathon.
