    Camping & Moving
    We are still camped in the same place as when i last wrote and nothing out of the ordinary course has happened with us. Last 3 days has been showery April weather only it has been warm and close in most place the warmth would be oppressivebut here on the river bank we have all the time a cool breese fresh off the water. I like our camp now and would be content to remain here a month or so.

    Mother was not well yesturday she was out carrying around a subscription on friday and saturday and it tired her to much. The subscription was to raise money for the christian commission to be expened for the benefit of the soliders in supplying them with reading matter and food and clothing. Whebnever it reaches the soliders or not we have made a sacrifice and will recieve the good that always follow such deeds

    Moving again
    We have moved from kinnerville to this place and since i got my tent put up here i have been busy writing on my muster rolls and returns. We let kinnerville last sunday afternook leaving all of our baggage in camp and moving in as a haste as if we were going to reinforce a hard pressed Div. of the army. we went on the steamer cresent to altgiers where we found a train of cars writing for us. by packing the men as closley as possible the regiments were finally got aboard.
