My father Mr.Ram Kamra had started a Garment Export Business in Dubai where we had 3 sales outlets so that's why I moved to Dubai to help my Father out.

As we Migrated to Dubai, I had to leave my friends and family and move to a new city, Where I did not know anyone so it was lonely, Also had to complete my education via correspondence course from 1992 to 1997 from Bombay university.

The primary challenge faced by me was to adapt to the climate in the summers as it would get very hot also we used to have a break in the afternoons from 1:30 to 4:00 pm. Secondly, the challenge was to learn a foreign language Arabic to get work done efficiently.

Challenges faced during the migration was to counter loneliness and the new caperence of traveling abroad for the first time in my life.

It took me a while to adapt to climate change and a change in culture and timings but I got over it easily as I made new friends there very quickly and their families welcomed me with open arms. So I had people who I communicate and learn from.

A lot of Indian settlers are based in Dubai so the basic lifestyle and food habits were the same, We learned about Arabic cuisine and we had to learn the Arabic language. People more or less are similar just the locals there where a particular outfit called the Kandoora.

The migration could not be avoided because our business had already taken off so we needed to be there to run it.

We all thought of a better lifestyle there and never let negative thoughts creep in our minds.

We got exposure to the trade worldwide as Dubai is an international hub of business, we were exposed to a lot of cultures like Iranians, Africans, Libyans, and also Europeans.
