    Pol Pot became the defacto leader of Cambodia. Many thought that was the end of Cambodia´s civil war but Pol Pot had been planning for decades, he had a perfect plan for his country and those who didn´t fit into his vision was most likely to die.

    Pol Pot evacutated Cambodia´s urban area, including Phnom Penh, which ruined the lives of millions because they were forced into re-edcuation camps and made them work to the bone in Cambodia´s field. If any of them complained about the amount of work they had to do than they would end up in the Khmer Rouge detention centres, being tortured untill they learned their lesson or just end up dying.
