Pol Pot died in 1998. He was 72 years old when he died. Pol Pot died from a heart attack

Sihanouk's father died in 1960. Then Sihanouk became the leader. He was 89 when he died.

In 2013 a bill passed in Parliament making denial of atrocities committed by Khmer Rouge in the 1970s.

Protests held a Phnom Penh over election results.

Security forces killed three people during their protest by garment workers demanding higher wages.
