We currently left Spain and off to sea. It is rough saying goodbye to my family. I have only been on the water for about 6 hours and it is very tough. I know that this journey will be a great experience. I will be gone for a long time and don't even know when I will get back. I am excited to see what this adventure holds for me.

This has been a very difficult first couple days. We have hit one major storm on the third day it almost blew are boat over. Waters have been rough and difficult to navigate with. I am looking forward to getting home but I have a feeling that it will be a while.

We just arrived to the port of Algeria. It is very different here, the style of living is way different and strange compared to Spains style of living. We have come among differnt diseases which is very common. For example one type of disease is smallpox which is very popular in Spain. We will be leaving tomorrow morning.

We left Algeria about a week ago and right when we left a small group of pirates attacked us causing 3 deaths among our crew. We were suprised also with most of our crew asleep. It has been a scary trip filled with disasters. We are now going to port Dakar in Senegal.

We arrived in Senegal the other day. It is very busy and people are in a rush. Few others have died from diseases like smallpox or sweating sickness. I miss my family and feel like we have been on this boat forever. I can not wait to get home and see my family. We are leaving at night so we don't have to worry about pirates.

We left Senegal last week and have been on waters for a week since then. It has been very nerve racking. We are going to the Port of Pecem in Brazil. This will be the longest time on waters. we are arriving in one weeks so from Senegal it is a 2 week trip. I hear that we are almost at our destination in the Americas. My friend Johnny died from a well known disease small pox are crew is slowly dying.

We just arrived at Port Pecem in Brazil. It has been quite a scary trip. We are down to a seventy person crew which is not much we started with 120 so almost have lost half of our crew. Pecem is more of a smaller port in Brazil. We are getting our goods and it looks like everything has been on track since we left Spain. I hear a very bad storm is ahead so we are staying here for one more night. We will be at Panama next time you hear from us.

We arrived in Panama today and all is good. Nobody as had signs of any diseases or other types of sickness we are almost in the America one more trip and we will be there. The Panama Port we are at is Cristobal it is the largest port we have been at and it has been a adevnture. It is nice here though. I just want to be in America.

We are almost in America and then we will have all of our goods and can go home. I huge event happened our captain died! He was poisened we believe in Panama so our new captain is worst though he is very old and stubborn on our work done on ship. I just want to get home so bad!!!

WE FINALLY MADE IT TO AMERICA! I love it here everything is so neat we just gathered all of our goods and will be leaving tomorrow mid-morning. I can not wait to get home and see my wife and kids. I have had a great trip here and fornute to still be alive and now I just got to make it home. Oh oops the port we are at is Port of Palm Beach. I am so glad!
