    In this year, the Aztec formed a triple alliance with two other tribes and conquered the region around them, and made the change from civilization to empire.
  • 1521

    Fall of the Aztec Empire

    The Aztecs were overthrown by the Spanish in this year. Hernan Cortes used his superior weaponry and the diseases that he brought over to defeat the Aztecs and wipe out their civilization.
