Husayn had sent a letter to Henry McMahon telling him about the terms for Arab participation in the war againts the Turks. The letter between the two outlined the areas in which britain was perparing to surrender the Arabs. -

The sykes Picot Agreement was a secret agreement durning WW I. It was between the British and French goverments pertaining to the paritions of the Ottoman Empire. Russia was also a small part of it. -
Balfour Declaration
The Balfour Declaration was what led the Jewish community in Britain and America into believing Great Britian would support the creation of having a Jewish state in the Middle East. Then, Arthur James Balfour declared support the establishment of a Jewish homeland in the area. Other nations that fough offered their support for the declaration. -

The Un General Assembly had voted to partion Palestine wanting it into two states, one Jewiish one Arab. They had divided the country into ways that would have mostly same population.The territory designated the Jewish state would be a little larger. -

After the six-day war, the PLO was created to promise in the Middle East.It is a confederation of groups that work to establish an independence state for the Palestinia people. -
Six-Day War
The six-day war was when Israelis defended the war as a preventative military effort to counter what the Israelis saw as an impending attack by Arab nations that surrounded Israel. The Six-Day War was initiated by General Moshe Dayan, the Israeli’s Defence Minister.The war was a major downfall for the Arabs. -
Yom Kippur War
Thte Yom Kippur War was between Israeli and Egyptian forces intensly border fighting along the Suez Canal. The Soviet Union provided military assitance to Egypt which was ended by a U.S sposored cease fire. -
Camp David Accords signed
The Camp David Accords were created to make peace between Israel and the Arab countries. It was signed by Anwar El Sadat and Menachem Begin on September 17, 1978. -
First Inrifada
The Palestinian population in the West Bank and Gaza started a mass uprising against the Israeli occupation. This was not started by the PLO leadership in Tunis. The intifada involved hundreds of thousands of people, many with no previous resistance experience, including children. -
Olso Accords signed
The Declaration of Principles (DOP), was an attempt in 1993 to set up a disaster that would lead to the resolution of the current Israeli–Palestinian conflict. It was the first face-to-face agreement between the government of Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO).
