    The sykes Picot Agreement was a secret agreement durning WW I. It was between the British and French goverments pertaining to the paritions of the Ottoman Empire. Russia was also a small part of it.

    The Balfour Declaration was what led the Jewish community in Britain and America into believing Great Britian would support the creation of having a Jewish state in the Middle East. Then, Arthur James Balfour declared support the establishment of a Jewish homeland in the area. Other nations that fough offered their support for the declaration.

The Six-Day War was initiated by General Moshe Dayan, the Israeli’s Defence Minister.The war was a major downfall for the Arabs.

    Thte Yom Kippur War was between Israeli and Egyptian forces intensly border fighting along the Suez Canal. The Soviet Union provided military assitance to Egypt which was ended by a U.S sposored cease fire.
