    Ancient Immigrants come into North America across a land bridge created by ice. The bridge went from East Russia into what is now West Alaska. The bridge got flooded over after the Ice Age.

    Early humans figure out how to plant crops. They can relax and think of things other than food. Most likely began in an area in the Middle East known as the Fertile Crescent.

    The Sumer begin establishing small towns and cities. They get most of there food from agriculture. They were located along the Euphrates River. Began making ziggurats at the center of these cities to worship gods in 4000 BCE.

    Early settlers in the Nile Valley. These Egyptians developed Hieroglyphics only 400 years later in 3100 BCE. Main food source was agriculture and fish.

    Egyptians create the first stone pyramid. It was built at Saqqara for the Pharaoh Djoser. This pyramid is 203 feet tall.

    Silk first began when the Yellow Emperors wife, Leizu, was drinking tea, when a cocoon fell into her tea and unraveled. The silkworms eat mulberry trees, then make cocoons with over a mile long strand of silk with each cocoon. Silk was and still is a major export.

    The largest of the 3 pyramids, Khufu's pyramid, stands at around 147 meters tall, and took an estimated 6,500,000 tons of stone to build. The second pyramid, Khafra's pyramid, was built on higher grounds and looks taller that Khufu's. The last pyramid, Menkaura's pyramid, is the smallest of the 3. All 3 are of course named after the Pharoahs that are or were buried in them.

    Mohenjo Daro and Harappa are built. Both of the cities were obviously planned before being built. The cities have sewer systems as well as toilets.

    During the Zhou Dynasty, the emperor appointed nobles to sanctions known as "states". The rulers of these states decided to try to overthrow the Zhou Dynasty, and in turn clashed with each other. The Qin Dynasty came out on top.
