Sometime between 332-331 BC Alexander took a city in Egypt. That city is Alexandria and is still there to this day.

It is said King Darius of Persia was assassinated by his own men. Another man Bessus (who was thought to have murdered Darius). Claimed the throne for himself. But Alexander wanted it. Bessus was handed over by his own men to a friend of Alexander. He was then executed.

After the Battle of Hydaspes, Alexander wanted to take the rest of India, but his soldiers were tired, so this stop his long and great conquest.

Nobody knows what caused his death. It was most likely malaria.
