Alexanders Father, Philip ll hires a tutor for him , Aristotle. He teaches Alexander to appreciate philosophy, geography, Greek poetry and scientific investigation.

At age 16, Alexander has finally finished studying with Aristotle and joins his fathers army. His father controls all the Greek city states except Athens and Thebes. He wants to invade the Persian empire.

The Macedonians meet The Athenians and The Thebans. Alexander leads the attack against the Thebans, while his Father , King Philip ll, leads the attack against The Athenians. They defeated the Greeks and put all Greek-city-states except Sparta under their control.

King Philip ll gets assassinated by one of his body guards and Alexander becomes King of Macedonia at age 20.

They defeat King Porus, leader of a kingdom east of the Hydapes River. After, Alexanders army refuses to go any further and he is forced to return to Babylon. When he gets back he gets ill with a fever and dies at age 32.

Alexander besieges and the city and razes it to the ground.The inhabitants are executed or sold into slavery to show that Alexander was as powerful as his father. Alexander then plans his campaign towards Persia.

After fighting the Persians Retreat and Alexanders army moves across the southern coast of Asia towards Gordium. While traveling they liberate many cities from Persian rule.

According to legend he solves the puzzle of the Gordian Knot, that held together the yoke and pole of a wagon once belonging to King Midas. Stories said that whoever solved the puzzle would rule all Asia.

Alexander creates the city of Alexandria. It is meant to be a hub of Greek and its culture. Alexander and Darius meet at Gaugamela for a battle. Alexanders military skills make Darius men flee and Macedona is victorious. Then he conquered Babylon.
