    -A journalist who demanded equal rights in her Declaration of the Rights of Woman and Female Citizen.
  • New Constitution

    -National Assembly produces the Constitution of 1791.
  • March to Versailles

    March to Versailles
    -About 6 thousand women marched 13 miles in the pouring rain from Paris to Versailles.
    -Louis was brought back to Paris by demand of the women. The women were Fish Market workers. The King was a virtual Prisoner.
  • National Assembly Declares War on Tyranny

    The war of words between French revolutionaries and European monarchs moved on to the battleflield. The Legaslative Assembly was eager to spread the revolution and destroy tyranny. They declared their first war on Austria, then Prussia, Britain, and other states.
  • Parisians March

    • A crowd of Parisians stormed the royal palace of the Tuileries and killed the kings guards.
    • The Royal family fled to the Legaslative Assembly escaping before the mob arrived.
