Japan seized Manchuria, a region of China.
Outcome: In 1937, Japan bombed Chinese cities and their armies took control of some Chinese regions. Japan was defeated by the Nationalists and Communists in 1945. -
Mao Zedong led communists about 6,000 miles from southern China to a remote area in northwestern Shaanxi. The communist felt that they shouldn't treat the peasants respectivly and fairly.
